About

The International Association of Color Manufacturers (IACM) is the international association of the color industry. Since its founding in 1972 as the Certified Color Manufacturers Association by color industry leaders, IACM has continued to be robust and relevant to the color industry.  IACM is the only association representing the interests of the manufacturers and end-users of coloring substances that are used in foods, drugs, and cosmetics on a state, national, and international level.  IACM includes members that produce and use both certified and exempt from certification colors.

The international color industry today faces a plethora of critical scientific, policy, and communications issues.  Through the active engagement of its membership, IACM provides color manufacturers and consumer product companies with the tools they need to address challenges facing the use of colors.
